Losing weight is said to be pretty difficult to accomplish
but why is that so, have you ever thought of the reasons why trying to lose
weight may be so difficult. Well below are just a few of those reasons. It is
my hope that understanding the difficulties you would be able to learn measure
to overcome them and eventually become successful at weight loss.
1.
You
expect instantaneous results. Losing weight is a gradual process that
cannot be accomplished over night, besides it didn’t take an overnight period
to put it on why do you think it would come off that quickly. The idea that
weight loss results should show within a week or two of implementing healthy
lifestyle practices is one of the things that make weight loss appear to be
difficult.
2.
You do
not stick to a simple regimen that has proven to be successful. Most persons
when deciding to lose weight begin with intense workouts and very restrictive and
stringent diet plans are very difficult to sustain, hence keeping these strict
regimens prove difficult and more often than not we end up quitting resulting
in our weight loss plans proving difficult to execute. Weight loss can be very
successful without thinking that you need to feel deprived with your diet plan
or pain after working out. In fact simple long term measures are effective in
shedding those extra pounds over time. I’m not saying that one should not exercise,
but virtually any exercise is good enough for weight loss as long as you are
consistent and you try to break the monotony periodically. It is better to
stick to a simply walking for 20 to 30 minutes per day than to try to run 2hrs
per day every. The sheer intensity of running that long would cause you to ‘burnout’
and lose interest in the program. However if you feel like there is not too
much stress on your body then you would be more likely to continue with it,
persons need to understand that all form of exercise is good. Do not get me
wrong an intense workout regimen would cause you to lose weight much faster
that a more moderate workout if you stick with it, but the problem comes with
being committed enough to stick with something that causes immense stress on
your body.
